The Business Referral Network promotes two kinds of business referral systems: Business-to-Consumer networking groups and Business-to-Business networking groups. We offer a variety of opportunities for most businesses. We plan top host periodic workshops and trainings to improve our member's skills because we value our people and want them to succeed.
For many people networking is not a natural skill. But it can be a learned skill and we help our people develop a comfort level speaking about themselves and their businesses. We encourage people to meet outside their respective group to get-to-know each other. Yes, networking is a relationship business, but the better we know each other, the easier it is to do business with each other, and a greater level of trust is established.
There are many other structured, highly professional, business-to-business networking organizations. Many, like BRN, are built on the understanding that people are most comfortable doing business with people they know and trust. Nearly all teach members how to generate more leads by forming trustworthy and strategic alliances that are mutually beneficial. All essentially work the same: during chapter meetings members pass qualified leads, present their own 30-second commercials, and develop rapport with other professionals. Pretty straight forward and simple.
Talk to everyone you meet. Don't discount or overlook anyone. Be genuinely friendly. People remember your kindness to them and will go out of their way to reciprocate.
